Bought this to replace my grandmother's first one that died (after years). She swears by it and loves it. She complains that her air is too dry, but once this is in place she says it's much better. But of course it also cleans the air too. I don't have a strong opinion of it but she raves about it to everyone !

This is the second humidifier in this size I have purchased. It is easy to clean and works great in a smaller room. I would not recommend for anything larger than a small bedroom. If you need to humidify a larger room, purchase this unit in a larger size. It is easy to maintain! Would recommend.

I recently bought the Venta Humidifier LW 24+ !
I find it too noisy at high speed for a bedroom. At mid speed the unit evaporated less than one liter of water during 16 hours, much less than our old unit.
My expectation was as high as the price. The performance not worse the difference in cost with more conventional units.
